As a friendly reminder, window HVAC units are not allowed in street-facing windows at the Community. We understand that the hot Charleston summers can really take a told on your HVAC unit. If your unit is in disrepair and requires attention/maintenance, please make sure you contact the HOA to let us know that your unit is temporarily under repair so we may notate your account. While extensions can be granted for this work, no exceptions will be made to allow window AC units long-term.
Speaking of your HVAC, don’t forget to keep the drain lines clear. We suggest a wet-vac method on the lines, or the consistent use of bleach tabs in the “P-trap.” Taking these precautions will help extend the life of your unit.
